Key meetings and debates with EU officials only at the Romanian Health Forum
12th April 2010, Brussels, under the High Patronage of the Romanian Presidency.
Rostislava Dimitrova, Health Strategy and Health Systems Unit, DG SANCO, European Commission, will participate at the debates initiated by Tarus Media during the first European policies focused event organized in Brussels, on the 12th April, under the High Patronage of the Romanian Presidency.
Rostislava Dimitrova will present some of the key aspects of the EU’s directives and recommendations for the next years. Moreover she will answer questions related to Romania’s most relevant present issues.

Briefly on
Dr. Rostislava Dimitrova is a medical doctor specialised in public health. She has more then 12 years experience in the field of health care. In 2000/2001 she made a six month internship in the German Bundestag and Humboldt University in Berlin. She used to be a civil servant in the Bulgarian health administration and head of the secretariat of the Health Committee in the Bulgarian Parliament. In 2006 she became a policy adviser on environment and health of the ALDE group in the European Parliament. Since February 2008 she works as a policy officer in the Unit "Health strategy and Health Systems", DG SANCO in the European Commission. Dr. Dimitrova has several publications in the field of health. She is one of the authors of the of the WHO Observatory book "Health Systems in Transition" for Bulgaria.
Romanian Health Forum - Perspectives on the European Health Policies, Opportunities and Challenges for the Central European Countries is organized in April 12th, 2010 at Renaissance Brussels Hotel.
